Grievance procedure - Time limit - Application for extension of time - Subsection 63(b) of the P.S.S.R.B. Regulations and Rules of Procedure, 1993 (Regulations) - the grievor filed a grievance, after the time prescribed for such action, against the employer's decision to declare him surplus - after the grievance was referred to adjudication, but before the start of the hearing, the employer informed the Board that it objected to the grievance because it was filed after the time allowed - prior to the hearing, the grievor requested that the time for the filing of his grievance be extended in accordance with subsection 63(b) of the Regulations - the adjudicator ruled that the grievor had not shown that the application for the extension of time should be allowed. Application dismissed. Grievance denied..
