[1]   At the outset of the hearing, on October 19, 2004, the hearing was suspended until 2 p.m. to allow the parties to conduct settlement discussions.

[2]   At the reconvening of the hearing, the grievor’s counsel advised me that he was mandated to withdraw his reference to adjudication.

[3]   At my request, the grievor’s counsel notified me, by letter dated December 8, 2004, of the withdrawal of the grievance (Board File: 166-2-32353) from adjudication.

[4]   Consequently, I hereby confirm that the grievance is withdrawn and that the present file is closed.
