Summary:

The grievor grieved the employer’s refusal to pay her an annual terminable allowance. The employer denied her request because she did not meet the conditions. The grievor argued that the employer misinterpreted the clause. The Board found that the grievor’s interpretation of the clause was not supported by the plain and obvious text and punctuation. There was no evidence that the grievor had the required qualification.
